To migrate to Canada through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program, one needs to meet the eligibility requirements. The work experience and education requirement will depend on the job you are applying for in the Atlantic region.

- The candidate should have at least One-year work experience or 1560 Hours or 30 hours per week in the last three years. It could be in a full time or part-time job in the qualifying occupations

- Skill Type 0, A, B or C
- International Graduates, there is no work experience required
- The candidate should have a secondary education, post-secondary education, or a certificate or diploma depending on the job one has applied for. The ECA should not be less than five years old. For international Graduates, a minimum of a two-year degree or diploma or certificate is required in the Atlantic region
- The Canadian Language benchmark requirement is 4
- The applicant should show that he has enough funds to settle in Canada, which is approximate to his family size
